I am sorry after telling you all that I would add more to my porch post the next day that it has been several. That isn't a very good way to start is it??? I do believe I have a decent excuse though. The boys had to be taken by c-section at 34 weeks but all is well!!! :) They were 6 lbs 2 oz and 5 lbs 8 oz, pretty decent size for twins that was 6 weeks early. I would hate to have been my daughter if they they had of been full term!!!
Well I have almost finished painting my swing, filled the pool, built a little porch by the pool for the kids to get in and out on (hoping to keep the grass down), weeded the front garden and added dirt and some plants, and.... ummm I know there was something else... oh yea, I put the color coat on top of the black on my glass cabinet in for the kitchen. This was done today so I am really tired, I hope to get pics and how to's posted tomorrow.

How to NOT get bitten/eaten alive by mosquitoes...
I live in central Alabama and we have mosquitoes the size of Manhattan!!! Knowing I was going to be working in the yard a lot I researched all of the 'green', 'organic', inexpensive ways to not get bitten. And here is what I tried and how it worked:
1.) Garlic: I had two large bunches of garlic (are the individual pieces of garlic called cloves or the whole bunch?) So I cut them up all around my deck yesterday. Today I went on top of it with a full thing of garlic powder. I still had one land on me around noon. I knew if they are landing on me already, I will be eaten alive by dusk!!! So onto the next thing...

My new (to me) home ended up being the one I saw in the Summer 2012 issue of do it Yourself magazine, and I didn't know it at the time :)
Prior to moving into this rental house (I know, I wish I owned again... Yet, these are the times. Just look for the silver lining :) I was living in a place that I wanted out of before I ever moved in. While looking at a Do It Yourself magazine I saw my perfect deck. It was me and I knew I would have it one day...
